Sans-Arcidet is committed to Madagascar, his homeland, notably with part of the Malagasy Mikea people, who come from the arid forest in the southwest of the island. The latter, driven from their place of life following numerous attacks by “dahalo (bandits, zebu thieves)” and massive deforestation, were forced to leave their village in the forest to approach the coast. . They must now learn to adapt to a new environment, both environmental and social, and find new resources while maintaining their culture in symbiosis with the forest.
We are offering a totebag with an illustration of a lemur and all the profits will be fully invested to finance the actions we are putting in place to support the Mikea (details below).
