Finally! Grab your suitcase and head off on holiday in good company! Sans-Arcidet Paris has reworked its luggage and added La Valise, its much-loved flagship model, to their collection. This season, La Valise is made from natural Madagascar straw, lined in cotton and adorned with handmade raffia embroidery. And denim is in too! Your heart won’t be able to resist it!

Raffia is a natural fibre extracted from palm trees that grows in tropical regions and especially in wet soil in Madagascar. All of our raffia products are crocheted or braided by hand in our Malagasy workshops.

Sans Arcidet has decided to replace the leather included in our products by a new material composed of only 2% leather. This material however still become stronger with time like real leather and may change slightly in the aspect of usage.

Your Sans-Arcidet raffia accessory is handmade by craftswomen in Madagascar. These talents are involved in the creation of unique, high quality pieces. Your item is designed to last and is not particularly fragile. However, we advise you to:

– Keep it away from direct sunlight and heavy rain

– If the accessory gets wet, leave it to dry in a dry place away from heat sources (fireplace, radiator, etc.)
